We've got two fundraisers for the library coming up: the 3rd annual Li-Berry Music Festival & Pie Throwdown and a new one, Readers on the Run, a fun little 5-k race around the village. I'm doing publicity, and I'm BEAT. But they should be a lot of fun. Ed Rouleau is organizing the run. The quirky bit about this race is that it will include magnetic poetry composition stops.
The music festival is all local groups this time: Acousta-Moose, Steve Brown & the Bailers, Arly-Jylz, and Fiddlehead Red.
I think I may enter the pie contest this year...
