Republic article wish list

Here's some cool stuff that I'd like to see in the Republic someday, from a freelancer or maybe an actual reporter if I can ever get financially solvent enough to hire one:

• Recycling in the Fairbanks North Star Borough
• A history of crime in Ester
• a regular Ester gossip column (short, though)
• actual articles on things like fire behavior, different kinds of fire retardants, a history of chimney-sweeping, etc. for the Firebreak (something more informative than a blotter/PR column)
• building and using a backyard biogas digester

Well, that's a starter. I suppose there's more that could be written...Ha! I KNOW there's more that could be written...
