Well, I've finally knuckled under and admitted defeat: I called ACS yesterday to get high-speed DSL added to my phone line. Sigh. Eighty-five bucks a month when bundled with regular service. The T-1 connection I had at the old office was SO nice. Everybody in Europe has T-1 connections as standard, basically because their taxes went to installing fiber optic cable about fifteen years ago or so. Maybe longer. See, that's what taxes SHOULD go for, not stupid-ass wars and torture camps. But that's another rant (stay tuned for a post on THAT delightful subject, kiddies).
So, the Republic website will finally get updated in about two weeks. I hope.
