A good planet is hard to find

A sign with these words on it has been hanging in a hallway of the Geophysical Institute for as long as I can remember, but on Tuesday, Earth Day, the sign was gone. I stopped in my tracks when I saw that it wasn't there. Nobody seemed to know where it had gone. I always look up at it when I walk through that hall, a little reminder hanging there that yep, Earth is home, and it's a good place, and we should keep it that way.

Ironic, isn't it, that it should disappear on a day specifically for celebrating the earth, don't you think?
