This is supposedly Ester, Alaska in 1912, but there was no source for the photo indicated, and I can't tell from the building storefronts for sure (for example, I can't see the California Hotel, or the Golden Eagle Hotel, which would have pinned it). The image was on pixdaus.com. Click on the image to see the whole street.
Addenda: On the right side of the photo, there is a sign which actually does appear to read "Golden Eagle Hotel"! The real deal!
