Looking for landmarks

of a historic nature, that is. The Tanana Yukon Historical Society and Design Alaska are conducting a survey for the Fairbanks North Star Borough on noteworthy places (buildings or properties): historically significant or associated with an important person or event. You can nominate "more than one building, structure, or site. Responses are due Friday, 11 July.

This ought to generate some interesting spots around the borough, although being historic is no guarantee of protection (think coal bunkers, Into the Woods cabin).
